Based on what I have researched, one of the most stunning islands in the Hawaiian archipelago is the Garden Isle or commonly known as Kauai.
It was the venue of the large parts of Jurassic Park, Fantasy Island, Raider's of the Lost Ark, the original King Kong and 6 Days and 7 Nights which were filmed here.
Furthermore, tourists can tour the Grand Canyon of the West, kayak along the beautiful Na Pali coast or just lounge over the island. This is the incredible way to experience the amazing variety of vegetation and geology on this small island.
The best time to go there is throughout the year. Poipu on the south-eastern side of the island is generally warm and sunny even when the tropical northern part of the island is overcast and rainy.
