I have researched about the Painted Desert in America which I prefer it to be the main topic of my report in our Social Studies class. Here are the important information that I got:
The Painted Desert got its name from the Spaniards who named it el'Desierto Pintura because of its brightly coloured landforms. It is located south-east from the Grand Canyon to the Pertrified Forest National Park. A stunning ever-changing landscape offering spectacular views are there is to see. Everyone should know that one should stick to marked trails in the Petrified Forest as the plants are very fragile. And it is illegal to remove the petrified wood.
