Yarra Valley, Australia

Yarra Valley is known to be the place where the best wineries in Victoria and excellent restaurants are situated. A mere half an hour's drive north-east of Melbourne, then you will reach the place.

In here, you can see the charming countryside, eucalyptus forests, tree ferns, splendid old farms, little villages, lovely gardens and not to mention, the Yering Station which is the first vineyard in the area that was planted as long ago as 1838, according to what I have researched. You can also see the Maroodah Reservoir Lookout, Steavensons Falls and Cathedral Mountain in this place. Since wineries are the all-time big business in the place, tastings can be arranged at some of the wineries by prior management. Wow! That is pretty indeed a wonderful treat!

But there is also one thing that you need to see in the place as well. It is the Warburton. According to what I have gathered, this is a pretty town on the Upper Yarra River which meant to be the start of the Upper Yarra Track that follows an old vehicle trail all the way to the Baw Baw National Park. If you pursue, you can complete the track as of five or six day trek. What a great fun indeed!

Yarra Valley explains your love of wineries to sight-seeing and have the trail. Pretty amazing!
