Keukenhof Garden, Netherlands

Kitchen Garden. This meants Keukenhof. It is adorned with colorful flowers, flowers and more flowers everywhere.

Daffodils, croci, narcissi, tulips and hyacinth's are among the gardens varieties. Combinations of yellow, gold, purple, red, orange and with heavenly scents, are indeed a paradise.

It was in 1949 in Lisse, according to the facts that I have gathered between Amsterdam and The Hague this garden were established. In fact, the tulip does not originally came from the place. It was brought to the country in 1593 at the request of the Flemish ambassador to Constantinople who was extremely captivated by their beauty. This made the market of these flowers came to boom that lasted until 1637.

Lilies, tulips, gladioli, daffodils and many other decorative flowers are Netherland's most important export products until this time.

Thanks to the 15th Century's Countless of Holland, Jacoba van Beieren who originated the idea of growing herbs and vegetables that gives an avenue for Dutch people to make Keukenhof Gardens a captivating flower industry in the whole of Netherlands that helps sustain the country's economy.
