The Leaning Tower of Pisa, Italy

Although vertical, The Leaning Tower of Pisa is recognized as The Seven Wonders of the World. It was the bell tower or the campanile of the cathedral with which it shares the Campo dei Miracoli. It was constructed in 1173 and the third level in 1178 until work stopped for almost a century because of Pisa's almost constant wars until it began again in 1272 under Giovanni de Simone. Work of the Pisa made through 1999 but there is nothing more to fix the tower for its foundation is weal, Though it was turned out not in its exact straight view, but still, tourists are visiting this place that made them a wonder.

The cathedral, baptistery and museum, the Church of Santa Catharina and the National Museum of San Mateo are some of the wonderful views in this place. One can reach there through air to Pisa or rail of bus from Florence and expect to pay an entrance fee.

There are more in Pisa that you could discover. Indeed, all of it are part of history.
