Old Town Lijiang and Dali, China

There is an exquisite place in China that spells fascination. Yes, indeed it is fascinating to tourists from all walks of life. The name is "Town of Big Ink Slab" or "Venice of the Orient" and that is Old Town Lijiang and Dali.

This beautiful ancient town with meandering slate lanes threaded by rivers is found in the northwest of Yunnan Province. It is surrounded by mountains and crystal clear water. Narrow, meandering lanes, timber and tile homes with engraved figures on the windows and doors as well as the vibrant gardens decorating the fronts became the place's main highlights. The Jade Dragon Snow Mountain or the Yulong Mountain can also be found there. On the other hand, in Dali lies the Erhai Lake which is said to be one of the seven biggest freshwater lakes in China.

Both water and homes are indeed the views that China will be proud of, and the venue, Old Town Lijiang and Dali.
