This beautiful ancient town with meandering slate lanes threaded by rivers is found in the northwest of Yunnan Province. It is surrounded by mountains and crystal clear water. Narrow, meandering lanes, timber and tile homes with engraved figures on the windows and doors as well as the vibrant gardens decorating the fronts became the place's main highlights.
